The Beauty of  Transformation
Happens Everyday at NewDay

Our logo is the image of a butterfly soaring across the rising sun because butterflies undergo transformation and every day the sun rises is an opportunity for a fresh start. At NewDay we believe in transformations and fresh starts. We believe that anyone can overcome addiction with the right tools. We provide personalized care and innovative therapeutic approaches to foster long-term sobriety, resilience and overall well-being. We are a New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) licensed outpatient facility, delivering treatment for adults battling substance use and other co-occurring disorders.

I had lost everything, had nowhere to go. I went to live at a women’s sober living home in Far Rockaway and continued my outpatient treatment at NewDay. I got to meet people who had stories and experiences as I did. I met people at NewDay who helped me. I was allowed to be me. I had to follow structure,
I had to want my life back and I did. Today, I am almost two years sober.
